This Christmas, Kai Tak flagship mall AIRSIDE under Nan Fung Group and Pixar jointly present the "Pixar | AIRSIDE Christmas Wonder Journey" from November 13 this year to January 3 next year, celebrating Christmas with Hong Kong fans!

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Pixar Animation Studios, multiple character installations, standees, and classic scenes from Pixar will be scattered across different floors of AIRSIDE, bringing joy and surprises to everyone! The AIRSIDE atrium will transform into a magical Pixar Christmas kingdom, gathering over 30 beloved characters and faithfully recreating three iconic animated scenes—"Monsters, Inc." Scare Floor, "Toy Story" Toy World, and "Up" Balloon House—along with the interactive Pixar Light & Shadow Zone, allowing fans to relive unforgettable movie moments and creating the most dreamy Christmas wonderland!

The Pixar Pop-Up Store will simultaneously debut at AIRSIDE, showcasing a series of limited-edition products, including the Hong Kong-exclusive Pixar 40th Anniversary Collection and various lifestyle items—fans must not miss out. The outdoor plaza on the ground floor of AIRSIDE will also feature a 6-meter-tall Pixar-themed giant Christmas tree and the "Pixar Christmas Carnival," where visitors can play games to win exquisite Pixar-themed gifts. More Pixar character standees will surprise visitors throughout AIRSIDE, creating a one-stop festive Christmas experience filled with joy and warmth!

Four Magical Pixar Themed Zones Reenact Classic Animated Scenes 

This November, the second-floor atrium of AIRSIDE will transform into the "Pixar | AIRSIDE Christmas Wonder Journey," featuring four meticulously designed themed scenes guiding visitors from the origin of creativity into Pixar’s most touching cinematic moments!

First Stop: Pixar Light & Shadow Interactive Zone 

As the first stop of the journey, this zone immerses visitors into the animated world. Visitors can select their favorite Pixar characters on the interactive installations, and classic scenes related to those characters will appear on the screen, allowing fans to relive every heartwarming and magical moment from Pixar’s 40-year history through a fresh interactive perspective.

Second Stop: Monsters, Inc. Cross-Time Portal

The "Monsters, Inc." scene faithfully recreates the "Scream Extractor," but this time, instead of collecting children’s screams, it gathers everyone’s joyful laughter. Simply shout into the sound sensor—the louder the decibels, the more energy is injected into the energy tank, lighting up the panels and filling the space with happiness. Then, step into Boo’s adorable bedroom set for photo ops, reliving the deep interspecies friendship between Sulley and Boo, feeling their unconditional protection and tenderness—but beware of being startled by Randall!

Third Stop: Toy Story Moving Boxes

The exhibition area creates a visually stunning, oversized "toy’s perspective" and specially recreates the touching moment when Andy, preparing to enter college, entrusts his beloved toy box to Bonnie. This marks Andy’s farewell to childhood and transition into adulthood, while passing on magic and memories to the next generation. The area also features the interactive "Lenny the Binoculars" installation—simply peer through the binoculars to relive classic scenes, as if preparing to embark on a mission with Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the Aliens!

Fourth Stop: Carl and Russell’s Adventure Balloon House

In the movie "Up," Carl’s house, filled with happy memories with his late wife Ellie, is one of the most emotional scenes. In the film, Carl, accompanied by Russell, flies the house toward Paradise Falls, fulfilling his promise to Ellie and finding peace from past grief, beginning a new chapter in life. The "Up" themed area not only recreates the iconic balloon house scene for photo ops with Carl and Russell character installations, but also displays a warm photo of Carl and Ellie beside the house—viewing it through a red magnifying glass may reveal sweet surprises.
